Pre-registration event extended until Sept. 1

Attention all you potential 'crossers. OK, so you missed the free food at the 'official' pre-registration on Wed. But don't despair - you may go hungry but we have extended the event (sans food), to Thursday, Aug 30, Friday, Aug 31, and Saturday, September 1. Stop by the Bicycle Shop, get the lowdown on the series and the training clinics, grab a gift certificate if you register for whole series, and check out the Redline Monocog 29er frame that is this year's cool raffle prize.

Great site guys! Ed Sniffen here, future last place finisher of the Arctic Cross 2007 season! Only one comment. Can you give directions to the staging area for all the races? I have no idea where to park for the APU races, and I don't even know where the other venues are! I may be the only one, but a description on how to get to the parking/staging area for these events would be helpful.

Thanks for all your work! Ciao!

Good comment Ed. Directions to all of the venues will be posted soon. For the APU races it is best to park at the Moseley Sports Center, then walk or ride down to the soccer field. Alternatively, you can park behind Grace Hall and walk or ride out on the trail a couple hundred yards to the field. A campus map can be found here:

Hi, my friend and I are super excited about trying cyclocross, but I cannot talk anyone into letting me borrow there road bike! (I wonder why) Are mountain bikes allowed? Or will we be stoned?

Hi Liberty. Yes, mountain bikes are always allowed. We encourage racers that want to keep participating in our races to eventually get a real cyclocross bike. But until then come out and race your mountain bike. We promise not to stone you!
