Grand Prix Jim Peot

We're naming ArcticCross #5, The Grand Prix Jim Peot, in honor of one of ArcticCross' founding members, Jim Peot, who will be making a special appearance on Saturday.

Saturday, September 30th.

Cost: Adults: $20/race or $100 for series. Juniors (<18): free. ***Cash or Check Only Day of Race!***
Registration closes 20 minutes before each race.

Beginner and Master 55+ Men, Adult Unicycles at 10:30 am for 40 min + 1 lap.
All Women (Beginner, Master, Open) at 11:30 am for 40 min
 + 1 lap.
Juniors at 12:30 pm for 20 min.
Kiddo Kross (pedallers and striders) at 1:00 pm for one lap.
Open Men, Masters 40+ & Single Speed Men at 1:30 pm for 50 min
 + 1 lap.

Courses: Cyclocross courses are 1.5 to 2 mile circuits. They incorporate pavement, grass, mud, run-ups, and barriers. Cylcocross is the ideal cross-training sport for the transition season.

Series: Best 5 of 7 races count toward points total.

Save Time At Registration

If you did not race last week, save yourself some time and print and sign the attached waiver before you come! You only need to fill out the waiver once for the season, but all racers, including juniors, are required to have one. If you're bringing the family, be sure to fill them out in advance.

Potluck!

Let’s try something new!
We’ll provide a table, plates, utensils, cups, napkins, and a few dishes to get things started: you bring something to share!
Saturday: bring your favorite desert! Brownies, cookies, pie, cake, you pick!
Sunday: bring your favorite baked potato topping! We’ll provide the baked spuds, you bring a topper: Nacho cheese, broccoli, bacon, chives, butter, chili…surprise your fellow racers.
A food table will be set up near the timing/reg tent, we’ll “officially” open it up after the end of the women’s race.

Please do not park on the roadway leading to the World Cup Stadium. If the World Cup Parking lots are full. Overflow parking can be found at the Kincaid Stadium. Thanks!
